Under the leadership of Martin Hodge, flight crash investigators Gaynor Crosswell and Phil Epson are looking into the explosion of a civil aircraft over rural England. Not only was everyone on board killed outright, but people on the ground also died.  Despite pressure from both the public and the airline to declare the crash an act of terrorism, the investigators are determined to find out the truth.  The investigation takes a devastating turn when it transpires that Marcus' long lost daughter was on board and - worse - that she is suspected of having smuggled a bomb onto the plane...
